This website dedicated to the memory of   ROGER ELLIS 1950 - 2006         DRUMMER, SINGER, SONGWRITER   Roger played  in rock ‘n blues bands in clubs and arenas all over the USA and Canada.  He shared the stage with classic bands such as Canned Heat, Tower of Power, Cold Blood, Hot Tuna, Loggins & Messina, Moby Grape, Manna, Dwight Twilly, Seeds, Orange County Allstars.  "Jammed” at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco with musicians like Carlos Santana, Jefferson Airplane’s Paul Kantner and Grace Slick, Papa John Creech, and members of the Grateful Dead and has also been spotlighted at Orange County’s Golden Bear with Bob Weir’s King Fish.         Studio experience included recordings of two albums and numerous singles, contracts with companies like CBS, RCA, EITRON, A&M, and extensive recordings at SOUND MASTERS in North Hollywood and CHATEAU EAST in Anaheim.           Locally, Roger played with bands including Bluefish, Mark Twang Band, 007, California Poppy, Train, The Rhinos, Paul’s Problem, Mic and the Maniacs, and big Orange County favorites, Rockets, Let’s Eat, and Lips.
